EVERYONE who has someone in his/her life touched by Autism/Aspergers should read the first chapter, "Defining Autism" of the book You're Going to Love This Kid!: Teaching Students with Autism in the Inclusive Classroom by Paula Kluth. Hell, everyone touched with autism or NOT should read that chapter. I haven't found a better source for describing what it can be like to be autistic than that in all the hundreds of things I've read on the subject. The rest of the book is great too. Two thumbs up, or as my friend Chris would say, SOTA (Slap on the Ass).
