Soccer is over until the fall. The kids had their "banquet" yesterday afternoon at the park. The weather was beautiful and the Soccer Association had a huge bouncer and a few carnival games set up for all the kids. Our team had pizza together, and then they handed out the trophies. And wouldn't you know it...they spelled our last name wrong, on BOTH trophies! They even double-checked all of the kids information with the parents before they submitted the list to the trophy shop--didn't do much good apparently. So now if we want it fixed (which we do), we have to take the trophies back ourselves to the place that the Soccer Association got them from. But on a more positive note, William and Evie were so excited to have their trophies! They loved that William's was a boy playing soccer and Evie's was a girl. Isn't it always the simple things in life? :)
