Christmas in January

Evie and I got to have fun spending a little time with an old friend last night. We didn't get to talk too much because NO ONE really gets to talk with Evie around these days (she's quite the chatterbox...gee wonder who she gets that from?!?!?). And since Evie ADORES this friend, she was trying extra hard to be cute and entertaining. And she got presents so that always adds to the excitement. And of course, weeknight gatherings always mean cutting the evening short, but it was nice to see her again. Busy lives tend to cut short the quality time we have with friends...I need to remember that and do something to change it!
