Okay, so it's inevitable that our children must grow up. And correct language skills are important, I know. But then why is it so hard to hear your youngest (and will ALWAYS be the youngest) maturing in her pronunciation of words?
The latest...Evie has called her big brother "Will-dum" for over a year now. It was something I was actually beginning to think would stick with him for life. But now, for the last three days, she is calling him "William" almost consistently. And while he prefers it that way, to me it is a little bittersweet. I guess I have to face up to the fact that she is not going to be little forever.
