Okay, so riding on a bumpy, smelly school bus, partnering up with a co-worker (classmate) so we can keep an eye on each other, eating a soggy packed lunch, walking around single-file holding a rope, and then having to write a report about the whole experience is not my idea of a great day. But remember the good old days when the words "field trip" filled you with so much excitement you could just burst?!
William went on his first kindergarten field trip yesterday. He was SO excited! He even got to take a special dessert treat in his lunch. Other than the bus lacking seat belts (he's obsessive about wearing his seat belt, which is a good thing), the rest of the day went great for him. He loved it, and drew a fantastic picture of the "chocolate tree" they saw. He even tried to spell chocolate on his own ("chlokolit").
